Santander Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the University of Malaga (Spain) will carry out research projects about CSR in business and universities.
From a business point of view, the Center is developing the following research project:
- CSR in public and high technology companies. This research will analyze how CSR influences a set of relevant dimensions different from financial performance that are drivers of sustainable growth. It will focus on activity sectors that can enhance the employment creation and wealth, and are characterized by knowledge transfer, university-enterprise collaborations, strategic alliances, employment of high qualified human resources, and development of high value-added products and services.
From an University perspective, the members of the Center have cooperated with the following project:
- Integrating Corporate Social Responsibility into the internal guarantee systems of quality: Towards a Healthful, Sustainable and Solidarity University (EA2011-0027). Founded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain, General Secretary of Universities, directed by Associate Professor Carlos A. Benavides Velasco of the University of Malaga.
